• We were attracted to Saheer’s substance, his lovely neck, excellent legs and feet and his correct conformation. He also has brilliant movement, a legacy of Al Karim Sirhalima*, who is his grandsire twice. Saheer is approx 37.5% Babson blood and he is very much a Babson horse in appearance.
• He gives us the opportunity to access some of Australia’s earlier straight egyptian imports up close ie: Al Karim Sirhalima*, Janidah* and Al Nahr Janie*.
• His strengths are his fabulous pitch black colouring, his movement, soundness, length of neck and large, kind eye and his lovely temperament. These are the qualities we hope he will contribute to our breeding program, qualities that will complement what we already have here perfectly. He will be used over a selection of our best mares this season and we are hopeful that some beautiful black foals will result as he has very strong black lines.
