The lovely "Rose" as she is known here at home, is a top quality straight egyptian daughter of the wonderful black imported stallion VVF Kai* (dec) and is out of a superb daughter of the celebrated imported stallion, Monteego Bay*. Rose is linebred to The Minstril, a stallion I have always loved and whose blood I have already incorporated into the Salam Arabian's breeding program with outstanding success! When the opportunity came up to lease Rose, Jenny and I jumped at the chance to have a Kai daughter to breed to RNZ Scorza* and she has now produced a superb black filly by him that we have named Al Shohayba.
